The Book Reading Event Continues at Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University
Following the start of the new academic year, the “Book Reading” event was held on September 19, 2023 at Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University. Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan and Head of the Library and Documentation Department Maksatbek Inakbekov joined the students in attendance. Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan emphasized the benefits of reading books and advised the students to cultivate the habit of reading. Students shared brief information about the books they had read. Additionally, Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan announced that the “Turkish World Issyk-Kul Poetry Nights” would be organized at our university in the near future. At the conclusion of the event, students were informed that the tradition of awarding books to book lovers would continue.
