Seminar on Google Services Was Held at Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University
Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University's Continuing Education Center organized a seminar for academic and administrative staff, as well as students at Manas University`s Kasym Tynystanov Conference Hall on October 31, 2023.
In the seminar titled “The Use of Google Services in Administrative Tasks,” led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rita Ismailova, Head of the Department of Computer Engineering, participants received detailed information about the Google services that can enhance their work. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rita İsmailova demonstrated how Google services, such as Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Drive contribute to the effective management of administrative tasks. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rita Ismailova also highlighted how Google serves as an alternative to similar Microsoft Office applications.
Director of the Continuing Education Center, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erkan Efilti emphasized that the seminar would be especially beneficial for administrative staff in educational institutions and underscored the importance of technological proficiency in contemporary society. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erkan Efilti also provided a comprehensive overview of the courses and activities actively conducted within the Continuing Education Center.
During the seminar, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rita İsmailova emphasized the substantial benefits of Google's core services for storing files on the internet, sharing them with other users, and collaborating with them.
The seminar garnered significant interest among the attendees and concluded with a question and answer session.
