The “Conference on Energy Investments and Cooperation in Kyrgyzstan in the 32nd Year of its Independence” took place on December 4, 2023, under the leadership of the Union of Engineers and Architects of the Turkic World. The conference was jointly organized by the Turkish Energy Producers Association, EcoEurasia Foundation, and Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University. Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University hosted the event with the participation of the President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus Ersin Tatar.

According to the decision of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University's Senate, dated 02/11/2023 and numbered 2023-14.75 of its meeting numbered 14:

• Courageously and steadfastly defending the struggle of the Turkish Cypriot people for rights, law, equality, and freedom on every platform.
• Making extraordinary efforts for a just and equitable solution on the island of Cyprus based on the principle of the “sovereign equality of the two states.”
• Acting in unity with the Republic of Turkey, demonstrating an unshakable will on the Blue Homeland, as in all matters.
• Acknowledging the unforgettable efforts of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, an integral part of the Turkic World, in the process of being accepted as an observer member of the Organization of Turkic States.
• Supporting initiatives to enhance cooperation with the Kyrgyz Republic within the framework of higher education, social, cultural, and tourism activities, and ensuring that the bridge of brotherhood is strengthened day by day.
• Sincerely contributing to the recognition of the peoples of the Turkic World and the awareness of Turkishness, which is also the aim of our university.

At the program, TRNC President Ersin Tatar was awarded the title of “Honorary Doctorate”. President Ersin Tatar was bestowed with his academic robe by the Rector of Manas University, Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan. Deputy Rector, Dr. Baktygul Kalambekova presented his doctoral diploma.
