Online Kyrgyz Language Training for Ulupamirs Was Successfully Completed
Within the scope of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University's Social Responsibility Projects, the certificate ceremony for the “Kyrgyz Language Training” course organized by KTMU Continuing Education Center and the Municipality of the Ulupamir People, Association of Solidarity and Culture of the Kyrgyz-Turkic People took place between October 23 and November 23, 2023. The online ceremony was held on December 27, 2023.
The certificate ceremony was attended by the Rector of Manas University, Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan; President of the Continuing Education Center, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erkan Efilti; Chairman of the Sustainable Development Commission, Prof. Dr. Kemal Polat; President of the Association of Solidarity and Culture of the Kyrgyz-Turkic People Abdulmetin Keskin; Headman of the Municipality of the Ulupamir People Eyuphan Vatansever; trainees and members of Manas University's press.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erkan Efilti stated that as KTMU Continuing Education Center, they have successfully reached every corner of Kyrgyzstan with their activities, expressing pride in completing an important international project. He thanked Rector, Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan for his support and wished success to the participants.
Rector, Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan highlighted the significance of Ulupamir as a bridge between Kyrgyzstan and Anatolia, with Manas University being the golden link of this bridge. In his speech, Rector Alpaslan Ceylan emphasized unity and solidarity, stating, “Manas family is a whole” and expressed the goal of transforming efforts into unity not only in education but also culturally. He thanked contributors and wished success to the participating trainees, concluding with the words of Hacı Bektaş-ı Veli and expressing belief in the strengthening of the Turkic World through unity and solidarity.
Abdulmetin Keskin, President of the Association of Solidarity and Culture of the Kyrgyz-Turkic People, expressed honor in receiving education from a world-ranked university and thanked Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan and the university staff for the opportunity.
Eyuphan Vatansever, Headman of the Municipality of the Ulupamir People, expressed gratitude to Manas University for offering education. He emphasized that lectures not only provided information but also a cultural experience.
Jumabay Ergin, speaking on behalf of the trainees, described the course as productive, emphasizing new friendships and cultural values learned through lessons.
During the program, certificates of participation were presented to the trainees and certificates of appreciation were awarded to Chairman of the Sustainable Development Commission of Manas University, Prof. Dr. Kemal Polat; President of the Association of Solidarity and Culture of the Kyrgyz Turkic People, Abdulmetin Keskin; Headman of the Municipality of the Ulupamir People, Eyuphan Vatansever and Dr. Rayhan Tashtemirova and Bakytbek Zhunusaliev, who conducted the courses.
