KTMU at CHEA-CIQG 2024 Quality Assurance Matters Conference
Advisor to the Rector of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University and Advisory Council Member of the Higher Education Planning, Evaluation, Accreditation, and Coordination Council, Prof. Dr. Olgun Cicek made a significant contribution by participating in the CHEA-CIQG 2024 conference titled “Quality Assurance Matters,” held in Washington, DC between January 29 and February 01, 2024.
The conference brought together more than 300 national and international higher education leaders from 35 countries, including America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and more, to discuss critical issues such as “Sustainable Higher Education” and “Data Collection and Accreditation” in five sessions.
Focusing on “Quality Assurance” and its critical importance for the sustainability of an enriched society, the prestigious conference hosted crucial discussions involving professional accreditation organizations, higher education leaders, and international participants.
This conference, featuring the participation of Prof. Dr. Olgun Cicek marked a distinctive step towards emphasizing the importance of quality assurance in higher education at the international level.
