Manas University`s Students Achieve Great Success at the International Theater Festival
On April 19, 2024, the closing ceremony of the IX International Student Theater Festival “New Names” was held in cooperation with the Ministry of Culture, Information, Sports, and Youth Policy of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Union of Theater Workers, and the State University of Culture and Arts after named B. Beishenalieva. The event was attended by students from the Department of Theater of the Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, members of the creative community, theater critics, playwrights, and students. Students from the Department of Theater won many awards at the ceremony.
Second-year student Yildiz Osmonalieva won the 1st prize in the category of “Best Theater Critic,” and fourth-year student Kunduz Kamchybek kyzy won the 2nd prize. Additionally, in the “Best Dramaturgy” category, fourth-year student Medina Muktarbek kyzy won 2nd place with her play “The Secret.”
