Agricultural Leaders of the Future Meet at the 1st Student Agriculture Congress
On May 14, 2024, the “Student Agriculture Congress” was organized by fourth-year students of Manas University`s Faculty of Agriculture. The event was attended by Rector, Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Aygün, the Doğal A.Ş. Kyrgyzstan team which supported the congress, faculty members, and many students.
Rector, Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan emphasized that Manas University is student-oriented and highlighted the importance of student symposiums. Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan mentioned Manas University's achievement in becoming the first and only “four-star university” from Kyrgyzstan in the QS Stars rating system. He thanked everyone who contributed to this success and stated that the university has initiated studies to make significant contributions to the agriculture and livestock sectors of Kyrgyzstan. He concluded his speech by wishing success to all students participating in the symposium.
Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Aygün provided general information about the faculty and mentioned that they organize seminars and congresses to cultivate more educated and successful students in Kyrgyzstan. He thanked everyone who contributed to the organization of the congress and wished success to the students.
The congress provided an opportunity for prospective graduates of the Faculty of Agriculture to share the knowledge, skills, and experience they gained during their studies. Planned to become a traditional event, the congress brought together future leaders and experts in the field of agriculture, encouraging the sharing of knowledge and experience.
