Jule Bolien, a senior student at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the Free University of Berlin, chose Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University for her internship. After researching universities in the region and desiring to explore Central Asia, she completed her six-week internship at Manas University, which began on May 27, 2024.
Jule Bolien found the opportunities offered by Manas University's Faculty of Veterinary Medicine suitable through her research on English websites. She contacted the dean of the faculty via email and received a positive response, prompting her to come to Kyrgyzstan.
She explained that she chose Manas University for her internship to efficiently complete her compulsory internship and to experience the fascinating culture of Central Asia.
“During my time at Manas University's Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, I gained extensive experience in general examination, injections, intravenous catheter applications, preparing animals for surgery, anesthesia applications, and assisting in operations,” said Jule Bolien. She expressed particular satisfaction with the abundance of practical training opportunities and the supportive, friendly environment when working with teachers.
Upon her return to her country, she intends to recommend Manas University to her friends for their internships. She also expressed gratitude for the free accommodation and meals provided by the university, stating that Manas University provided an unforgettable experience for her.
