Technoparks, where universities, research institutions, and industrial organizations collaborate on research and innovation activities, create value-added products, transfer knowledge and technology, and integrate academic, economic, and social structures, can now be established in Kyrgyzstan.
The draft law on technoparks, significantly contributed to by the Rector of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan was accepted and signed by the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov on July 23, 2024. The law was published in the official newspaper of the Kyrgyz Republic on July 26, 2024, establishing the legal framework for the creation, operation, and termination of technoparks in the country.
As Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, we would like to express our gratitude to everyone who contributed, especially the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov for his support in establishing technoparks. In today’s world, global competitiveness is directly tied to a country’s ability to generate new knowledge and drive technological advancements, making this initiative crucial.
