Manas University Participated in the International Summit on Education and Science
The Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic organized the International Summit on Education and Science as part of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the national education system.
The summit, held on August 19-20, 2024, at the “Dolphin” recreational complex in the village of Chok-Tal in Issyk-Kul, was attended by the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Edil Baisalov; the Minister of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic Dogdurkul Kendirbaeva; the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic Rasul Abazbek uulu; the Deputy Rector of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, Prof. Dr. Almaz Ibraev; as well as representatives from leading educational institutions and organizations from Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Singapore, and many other countries.
At the summit, where Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University also participated and garnered significant attention, topics such as the quality and accessibility of education, continuous learning as a component of sustainable development, the contributions of educational institutions to social responsibility, collaborations, projects, and multilingual and cultural diversity were discussed.
Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, which also participated in the “Fair of Innovative Initiatives in Education” organized within the framework of the summit, received great appreciation for the products it showcased. The university once again demonstrated its brand value by fulfilling the slogan “More Than Just a University.”
The main purpose of the fair was to provide a platform for the exchange of experiences, pioneering ideas, technologies, and methods in the field of education and science, as well as to create effective platforms for dialogue and cooperation. The fair also shared insights on innovative new areas of education, including new trends, digitalization, virtual reality, and the use of artificial intelligence in education.
