Chairman of the Board of Trustees Visits Manas University
The newly appointed Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, Prof. Dr. İbrahim Çapak visited Bishkek and held meetings with members of the Senate, as well as with academic and administrative staff, to meet and exchange ideas.
During the meetings held on September 2, 2024, at the university, Prof. Dr. Çapak expressed his pleasure at being part of Manas University and meeting the Manas Family. He highlighted his satisfaction with the university's level of development and extended his gratitude to everyone who has contributed to its growth since its establishment. He emphasized the importance of collective effort, stating that they will work together to further advance the university.
Prof. Dr. Çapak also emphasized that the Board of Trustees will make every effort to support Manas University in all areas. Their goal is to advance scientific contributions, provide the highest quality education to students, benefit society, and achieve the university's broader objectives.
During his meeting with the Senate members, Deputy Rector Prof. Dr. Almaz Ibraev briefed the Chairman on the university's priority issues, while General Secretary Prof. Dr. Oktay Özgül gave a presentation on recent developments at the university.
After meeting with the deans and directors of high schools, Prof. Dr. Çapak met with academic and administrative staff in the Rectorate Conference Hall. Prof. Dr. Çapak's visit will conclude with various other meetings.
