Intercultural Meeting: Orhun Exchange Program Students at KTMU
On December 20, 2024, Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University’s Vice Rector, Prof. Dr. Recai Doğan met with students participating in the Orhun Exchange Program and Bilateral Cooperation Protocol.
During the meeting, the students introduced themselves and expressed gratitude to the university administration for the opportunities and facilities provided by Manas University. They shared that their experiences at the university significantly contributed to their personal growth and academic development.
In his address, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Doğan stated, “Understanding one’s local identity is essential. This includes recognizing oneself and maintaining culture and history.” He emphasized that Manas University provides opportunities to explore diverse languages, cultures, and perspectives, stating, “Every student at Manas University gains opportunities to view the world from a broader perspective.”
Director of the International Relations Office, Dr. Kadri Ağgün wished the students success and expressed confidence that the knowledge gained during their time at the university would greatly enhance their future careers and goals.
