Rector Ceylan Presented Manas in the Kyrgyzstan Special Issue of Business Türk

Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan penned an article introducing the university in the Kyrgyzstan special issue of Business Türk, the business, economy, and management magazine of the Turkic World.

Published as a “Kyrgyzstan Special Issue” in honor of Kyrgyzstan’s Chairmanship of the Organization of Turkic States, the magazine featured Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan’s detailed account of the university’s establishment, governance structure, medium of instruction, academic units, intellectual capital, students, graduates, robust infrastructure, and international achievements.

In his article for Business Türk, Rector Prof. Dr. Ceylan portrayed Manas University with the following words:

“At Manas University—where the common sentiments and ideas of the youth of the Turkic World, who tirelessly strive to make the 21st century the ‘Turkic Century,’ are brought together—the desire to raise new generations who act by the requirements of modern science and use their power and will for the welfare, peace, well-being, and happiness of humanity persist forever. Kyrgyzstan-Turkey Manas University is the most significant and influential institution in the fraternal ties between Kyrgyzstan and Turkey.”

The magazine, published in both Turkish and Kyrgyz Turkish, features a foreword titled “Ulu Bayterek: The Turkic World Is the Deep-Rooted Branches of a Majestic Plane Tree,” authored by the State Secretary of the Kyrgyz Republic, Mr. Süyünbek Kasmambetov.

Business Türk’s Kyrgyzstan Special Issue was distributed to the Presidency offices of Turkey and Kyrgyzstan and all state institutions, significant business and media organizations, and universities.
