Based on an evaluation conducted among the Preparatory Class students of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University’s High School of Foreign Languages, Samara Abdukalikova was recognized as the student who read the most books.
This award organized to promote academic success and encourage reading habits, was presented to Abdukalikova by KTMU Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan on February 10, 2025.
During the award ceremony, Prof. Dr. Ceylan highlighted the profound impact of reading on intellectual development. He also announced that he had donated his entire personal library in Türkiye to the university. Emphasizing the importance of reading, he stated, “You can neither be a scientist nor a teacher without reading books.” He encouraged students to cultivate a strong reading habit.
Prof. Dr. Ceylan congratulated Samara Abdukalikova on her achievement and expressed his hopes that she would continue expanding her knowledge through reading.
Following the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Ceylan met with students to listen to their thoughts and concerns. In a warm and friendly discussion, he reassured them that the university administration is always supportive of its students.
