On February 13, 2025, Bashkir State Pedagogical University named after M. Akmulla hosted an International Scientific Conference, bringing together rectors of leading higher education institutions from Kyrgyzstan and Russia. The conference was attended by the Deputy Rector of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, Prof. Dr. Almaz Ibraev, along with rectors from major pedagogical universities in Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and other brotherly countries.

The event began with a presentation showcasing the university’s institutes and faculties, providing participants with a comprehensive overview of its educational and scientific resources. This was followed by guided visits to classrooms, laboratories, and workshops, where the rectors engaged in discussions with faculty members.

A central theme of the conference was strengthening collaboration in joint educational projects, not only with Bashkir State Pedagogical University but also with other pedagogical institutions across Russia. Prof. Dr. Almaz Ibraev emphasized the importance of academic partnerships, stating: “By uniting our efforts and fostering human connections, we will not only successfully implement educational projects but also contribute to making the world a better place.”

Another key agenda item was student and faculty mobility. University administrators from Kyrgyzstan highlighted that partnerships with Russian universities would significantly enhance educational quality and contribute to institutions achieving higher standings in international rankings.

At the conclusion of the conference, rectors from Kyrgyzstan met with Kyrgyz students studying at Akmulla University. The students organized a special concert program for the guests and showcased their academic projects and research endeavors at the university.
