The curriculum of the educational program is drawn up according to the credit - hour system, taking into account the world educational standards. Cycles of disciplines include: mathematics and natural sciences, humanitarian and socio-economic, general professional and special disciplines. Accordingly, the curriculum contains the content of the program, the conditions for its implementation and the requirements for the condition of training specialists for basic and complete higher education. There are courses on the choice of disciplines, industrial practice and defense of the final qualifying work and master's thesis. The disciplines studied are divided into semesters in accordance with the hierarchical sequence of their study. Lectures, laboratory, individual and independent work are provided. The results of students' knowledge are assessed on a point system, taking into account the data of intermediate modules and the exam. Educational and scientific laboratories have modern equipment for physical and chemical analysis and environmental assessment of environmental conditions. The department widely uses audio-video equipment in the organization of educational processes, the implementation of "online" lectures, the defense of graduate works and the holding of scientific and practical conferences, seminars and symposia on modern problems of environmental protection and rational use of natural resources.
