International Student Conference Held at Manas University
Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University organized an international student conference on "Economic Development of Countries in Changing World Conditions".
The conference opening program, organized by the Department of Economics of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, was held on April 27, 2023, at Kasym Tynystanov Conference Hall.
The opening speeches of the program, which started with the national anthems of the two brotherly countries, were delivered by KTMU Deputy Rector Dr. Baktygul Kalambekova, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sezer Bozkush Kahyaoglu and Head of the Department of Economics Prof. Dr. Jusup Pirimbaev.
Following the speeches, the invited speaker of the conference, Lecturer at Dokuz Eylül University Prof. Dr. Hakan Kahyaoglu presented “Growth Tendency and Spillover Effects in the World Economy in the Context of Geopolitical Risks.”
During the 13th face-to-face and online conference, 53 papers were presented by students from universities in Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Russia.
