Rector of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan presented awards to students who read the most books in the 2022-2023 academic year. Four students studying in different departments were recognized for high reading numbers during a nine-month period according to the Department of Library and Documentation.

Aisezim Marlen kyzy, a student of the Department of Philosophy of the Faculty of Humanities, was the top student to achieve this success by reading 91 books. Gulzar Shailoobai kyzy, a student of the Department of Management of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, ranked second by reading 69 books in total. Farzona Saifidinova, a student of the Department of Biology of the Faculty of Science, was third with 67 books. Also Nurdoolot Jambilov, a student of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of the Faculty of Engineering, was awarded for reading 65 books.

Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan congratulated each student and gave the book awards determined according to the students interests and reading preferences. He stated that he organized such a program to encourage students to read and support their knowledge. Emphasizing the importance of books, Prof. Dr. Ceylan stated that reading opens the door to information and supports personal development. He underlined that students should manage their time well and constantly improve themselves.

This award program was an important event organized to promote reading habits and access to information among Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University students.
