Professional Development Seminar for Lecturers
Seminars on “Turkish Language and New Trends” started on June 19, 2023 at Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University in cooperation with Yunus Emre Institute. Five-day seminars will be given by experts in their fields. Among the participants are lecturers from Manas University`s High School of Foreign Languages, Maarif Schools etc.
KTMU Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan thanked Yunus Emre Institute and the lecturers who came for the training. Rector also emphasized the importance of such seminars for lecturers. Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan said: “We attach importance to such training seminars to inform our lecturers about the developments in the field of education. Our aim is to provide lecturers with the necessary knowledge, skills and behaviors in order to be effective in the education process. In the last three years, many seminars on "training for lecturers" have been held for our lecturers within this framework. Positive results have been obtained from these activities. Today, change is rapid in almost every field. Nowadays, information can quickly become outdated. For this reason, it is critical for our teaching staff to follow the latest developments in terms of the quality of our education and training. We will continue to hold seminars for lecturers.”
After Prof. Dr. Recai Dogan, Director of the High School of Foreign Languages at Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, stated that they were pleased to see Yunus Emre Institute at Manas University and thanked all the participants. Prof. Dr. Yavuz Kartallıoglu said: “On behalf of myself and Yunus Emre Institute, I would like to express my gratitude to our Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan, Director of Manas University High School of Foreign Languages Prof. Dr. Recai Dogan and the esteemed diplomats for inviting Yunus Emre Institute to Kyrgyzstan, and giving me the opportunity to share my experience and knowledge. He continued by talking about the establishment purpose and activities of Yunus Emre Institute.
At the end of the seminar all participants will receive certificates.
