Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University supported students affected by the Turkey earthquake.
"Biruni Virtual Reality Laboratory” was established with aid collected by university members to contribute to education in the earthquake region so that earthquake victim's education would not be disrupted.
The first “Biruni Virtual Reality Laboratory” was opened in Islahie which was the most affected by the earthquake. In addition to Islahiye, laboratories will be opened in Nurdagy, Kahramanmarash, Osmanie, and Kilis.
Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan said that Manas University is not only limited to education but also conducts social activities under the social responsibility project. Manas University`s rector also emphasized that each member of the large "Manas" family has a well-developed sense of social responsibility.
Additionally, Alpaslan Ceylan stated that Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University will continue similar social activities.
