Meeting with the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Kyrgyzstan Khurshid Mirzahidov
The first visit was made to the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Republic of Kyrgyzstan within the scope of visit to embassies in Kyrgyzstan, which was initiated to increase Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University's recognition in other countries, especially in Turkic Republics and Related Communities.
Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University`s Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan's visit on July 11, 2023 was accompanied by Vice Rector Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kamalbek Karymshakov and International Relations Coordinator Prof. Dr. Kemal Polat.
During the visit, Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan informed the Ambassador about many issues. These issues ranged from our university's admission requirements to Manas University's quality and free education opportunity. Also, Rector Alpaslan Ceylan gave information about QS World University Ranking success. Expressing his feelings and thoughts during the visit, Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan emphasized, “We want to increase our university's recognition not only in Kyrgyzstan and Turkey, but also all over the world. In this context, we are planning a series of scientific and cultural activities. I would like to express my gratitude for our Ambassador's interest and hospitality during this visit. The purpose of this visit was to discuss these issues. I would like to state that we will be very pleased to host more Uzbek students and academicians at our university in the next academic year.”
Ambassador Khurshid Mirzahidov noted that KTMU is a higher education institution that provides high-quality education in accordance with current time requirements, and emphasized that he places importance on maintaining education cooperation to attract more students to Manas University. Also, he stated that he always supports Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University.
At the end of the visit Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan presented gifts to the Ambassador and expressed sincere wishes for the continued strengthening of the cooperation.
