Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University`s Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan visited the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Kyrgyzstan on July 18, 2023. The visit was initiated to increase recognition of Manas University and further develop internationalization. KTMU Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan led a delegation that included Vice Rector Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kamalbek Karymshakov and Prof. Dr. Kemal Polat.

During the visit Rector Alpaslan Ceylan gave information about Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University's material and technical base. At the meeting, Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan also stated that our university doors are always open for Turkic students. He emphasized the importance of cooperation between the higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan and our university. Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan said: “We want Turkmen youth to receive quality and free education at Manas University. Our university has created all conditions for foreign students. We are ready to cooperate with the higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan and share education experience. We believe that by working together we will succeed."

Ambassador Shadyrdy Mederov thanked Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan for providing information about Manas University. He also highly appreciated the Rector's efforts to open a medical faculty at Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University. In addition, he stated that they would like to organize joint scientific and cultural events with our university. In addition, Ambassador Shadyrdy Mederov said they would hold a symposium in October dedicated to Makhtumkul Firaki. At the meeting KTMU and the Embassy of Turkmenistan expressed interest in further cooperation. The visit ended with the presentation of booklets and brochures, as well as gifts made by Manas University.
