The 5th International Turkic World Congress on Science and Engineering, organized in partnership with Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University (NOHU), and Azerbaijan Technical University (AZTU), began with a combination of in-person and online sessions. The congress was officially inaugurated on September 15, 2023, at the Kasym Tynystanov Conference Hall, hosted by Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University.
This fifth edition of the International Congress of Science and Engineering of the Turkic World, serving as a vital platform for scientific collaboration, featured 11 concurrent sessions with a participation of 103 delegates from Turkey and 19 different countries, including Germany, Azerbaijan, Australia, Belgium, Algeria, India, the Netherlands, Iraq, Iran, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Egypt, Pakistan, Poland, Portugal, Sudan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan. A total of 210 research papers were presented during the congress.

Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan emphasized that Central Asia stands as a shining star within the Turkic World. He stated, “Our fundamental philosophy is to foster greater collaboration among our universities. With increased collaborations, the bonds of brotherhood are strengthened. This congress serves as a platform to unite academicians and researchers around world. We recognize the increasing significance of Engineering and Science disciplines with each passing day. The bedrock of these achievements is Science and Engineering. As long as the Turkish nation stands united, we have unwavering confidence in its ability to achieve remarkable feats.”
Following the opening speeches, Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan presented certificates of appreciation to the Congress Coordinators, and the presentation of research papers on various topics ensued.
The congress, marked by robust participation, will continue its proceedings from September 15 to 17, 2023. The papers presented during the congress span a range of languages, including Turkish, Kyrgyz, Kazakh, Russian, English, and Azerbaijani.
