On September 27, 2023, a special meeting was convened for faculty members who arrived at our university as part of the Orhun Exchange Program. The meeting took place at the Rectorate of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, with distinguished attendees including Prof. Dr. Sinan Akgol, Prof. Dr. Fazilet Nezahat Alayunt, Prof. Dr. Yuksel Tuzel, Prof. Dr. Harun Yalcın, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Resul Bagı, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Arzu Yazgı, and Dr. Veysel Bay. Additionally, key figures such as Prof. Dr. Kemal Polat, the International Relations Coordinator of Manas University, and Prof. Dr. Atilla Dursun, the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, along with other esteemed faculty members, graced the event with their presence.

During the meeting, Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan discussed the university's management approach, emphasizing their commitment to regularly gathering faculty members into groups at the beginning of each year to listen to their expectations. Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan further noted that, at the year's end, the university provides updates on the realization of these expectations.

Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan underscored the significance of the opinions of faculty members participating in the Orhun Exchange Program and invited them to share their impressions of our university. Furthermore, he proudly mentioned that our university stands among the top 800 in the QS World University Rankings, making it one of Central Asia's best universities. Rector Alpaslan Ceylan also stressed the university's dedication to internationalization and fostering sustainable collaborative projects.

Rector Alpaslan Ceylan reiterated the university's open-door policy, promising support such as dormitory facilities and other resources, especially for faculty members pursuing research during the summer months. He also highlighted that Manas University graduates face no difficulty in securing employment after graduation, citing their proficiency in at least four languages and access to various opportunities provided by the university.

The visiting faculty members expressed their warm reception by Manas University, noting their delight in encountering a university that exceeded their expectations. They praised the institution's commitment to providing high-quality education, its picturesque campus, and, notably, the positive rapport between faculty members and students. The faculty members also commended the students' keen interest in seminars and lectures, observing the dedicated efforts of both Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan and the faculty members, recognizing their successful fulfillment of Turkey's mission. Impressed by their experience at Manas University, the faculty members conveyed their enthusiasm for potential future collaborations with the university.
