Forum of Rectors of Universities of Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan

The Forum of Rectors of Universities from Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan was hosted by the Kyrgyz-Uzbek International University named after Batyraly Sadykov. This significant event brought together more than 40 universities from both Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan and was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic. The primary goal of the forum was to establish lasting partnerships between universities in both countries. This would involve the sharing of successful research experiences and innovative educational methods, the development of international educational programs and collaborative projects through bilateral and multilateral agreements, as well as the promotion of teacher and student mobility. Additionally, the forum facilitated discussions on international cooperation with partner universities and showcased best practices in this regard. There was also a focus on the role of research activities and innovations in promoting internationalization.

Representatives from Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, Vice Rector Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kamalbek Karymshakov and International Relations Coordinator Prof. Dr. Kemal Polat actively participated in the forum. During the event, our university was introduced, and various matters such as bilateral agreements with officials from Uzbekistan universities and student and teacher mobility were thoroughly discussed. Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University garnered significant interest among the attending university rectors. The university's remarkable achievement of ranking among the top 800 in the QS World University Rankings solidified its reputation not only in Central Asia but also on a global scale. This recognition led to extensive discussions and inquiries from universities eager to collaborate in areas such as education, culture, and the arts. Prominent universities such as the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek, Namangan Engineering-Construction University, Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service, and Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent expressed a strong desire to establish partnerships with Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University.
