Manas University Has Received Good News Regarding its Participation in the Eurasian Rankings

The 7th International Eurasian Higher Education Forum, organized by the IAAR (Kazakhstan) on October 6-7, 2023 in Astana (the Republic of Kazakhstan), played a pivotal role in bringing together higher education institutions from the region. The forum's primary focus was on discussing the theme of "A Sustainable Future for Higher Education."

One of the highlights of the event was the participation of Prof. Dr. Olgun Çiçek, Rector Advisor of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, who represented the university as an invited speaker. During his presentation, he received exciting news that the university would be included in this year's "Eurasian Rating."

The forum witnessed the participation of approximately 150 higher education representatives hailing from countries such as Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Moldova, and Ossetia. The participants engaged in discussions revolving around the themes of quality and sustainability in Central Asian higher education. Furthermore, they exchanged valuable insights and best practices related to internationalization in higher education.

The forum's guest of honor for the year was Stephane Lauwick, President of EQAR (European Quality Assurance Register) in Belgium. His impactful presentation provided valuable perspectives on ensuring quality and assurance in higher education, leaving a lasting impression on the attendees.

The event was graced by the presence of Kazakhstan's Minister of Higher Education and senior executives from various universities. During the forum, cooperation protocols were signed, and discussions took place regarding collaborative projects and exchange programs. Notably, five universities committed to signing protocols, fostering a spirit of collaboration and partnership.

The 7th International Eurasian Higher Education Forum marked a significant milestone in shaping a sustainable future for higher education in the region while promoting international cooperation. Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University is enthusiastic about the future and remains committed to seizing opportunities for further growth and development within the Eurasian higher education landscape.
