Rector Alpaslan Ceylan continued, “Today, I am filled with immense pride and excitement as we gather on this meaningful day to celebrate the centenary of the Republic of Türkiye. A century ago, the struggle for independence, led by Gazi Mustafa Kemal Ataturk and his comrades-in-arms, culminated in victory, thanks to the determination and resilience of our nation. It was with this resounding victory that the foundations of the Republic of Türkiye were firmly established.”

Rector Alpaslan Ceylan expressed, “We are well aware that the Republic of Türkiye boasts one of the world's strongest armies, strongest economies, and most powerful navies. Long live the Republic of Türkiye!” His words highlighted the Republic's remarkable strength and achievements.

Alpaslan Ceylan also stressed the importance of unity in the present era, emphasizing, “This is a time of united hearts and our Turkish World. Preserving our unity of heart and mind is now our shared responsibility. It falls upon us to ensure the perpetual existence of the Republic. Dear youth, dear students, you represent the generations entrusted with upholding the Republic's legacy. You are an invaluable generation tasked with passing down the values bequeathed by our ancestors to the future. We hope that you will leave an indelible mark on the future through your love for your homeland and nation, your unwavering spirit, and your character. Long live the Republic of Türkiye!”

This splendid lantern procession served as a profound manifestation of unity, solidarity, and unwavering love for the Republic.
