The Coordination Council of the “Start-up” competition, chaired by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Edil Baisalov has decided to provide state funding to 8 start-up projects. According to this decision, the successful project of the students of Manas University titled “Basi-KG” has received 556,300 soms.
A total of 158 students from 21 higher education institutions and 3 colleges participated in the competition. “Basi-KG,” the outstanding project of Manas University's students, impressed the jury with the concept of developing bioinsecticide production technology based on entomopathogenic fungi, securing its place among the 8 finalists. Prof. Dr. Tinatin Doolotkeldieva, who led the project and her team achieved significant success with this innovative project.
The start-up project “Basi-KG” was implemented by Elita Ismailova, a student of the Master's program in Plant Protection, along with Aykol Altymyshova, Adilet Zhaanshaev and Aksaamai Ulukbek kızı, 4th-year students of the Department of Plant Protection.
