Manas University is among the Top 500 Universities in the UI GreenMetric World University Rankings
Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University has enhanced its success by achieving the 589th position in the “World's Most Sustainable University” in the 2023 UI GreenMetric World University Rankings. Manas University stands out as the sole representative from Kyrgyzstan in this prestigious ranking, where 1183 universities from 85 different countries competed.
The UI GreenMetric World University Rankings, initiated by the University of Indonesia in 2010, serves to evaluate universities globally. It employs a comprehensive measurement system encompassing 39 different indicators, assessing studies in the areas of energy and water conservation, infrastructure, transportation, waste management, climate change, and environmental sustainability.
Manas University's standing in this ranking once again underscores its unwavering commitment to sustainability, solidifying its prominent position among universities worldwide.
