Seminar on Scientific Research Projects
On February 22, 2024, the seminar on “General Principles of Scientific Research Projects”, organized within the scope of Project Design and Writing Seminars, was held at Manas University`s Kasym Tynystanov Conference Hall. The seminar attracted great interest from academics and graduate students.
In his opening speech, Prof. Dr. Ertan Ozensel, Chairman of the Scientific Research Projects Commission and Head of the Department of Sociology, thanked Rector of Manas University, Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan for his support during this process. He also explained the purpose and importance of the seminar to the participants.
Prof. Dr. Ertan Ozensel explained the new directives, guidelines, project types and support amounts. He mentioned that project applications are submitted twice a year, and the external support requirement has been eliminated. Project types have diversified, and domestic and international symposium/congress supports are provided during the project process. Furthermore, he highlighted that graduate students can apply with their advisors, and support is available for these projects.
At the meeting, Prof. Dr. Ertan Ozensel underscored the importance given to scientific research and thanked everyone who showed interest and participated in the seminar.
