Manas University's Institutes Merged
In accordance with the decision of the Board of Trustees of our university dated April 25, 2024, and numbered 2024-01, the institutes within Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University were merged under the name of the “Institute of Postgraduate Education.” According to the decision, the current Graduate School of Social Sciences, Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences, Eurasian Research Institute of History, Language and Archaeology, and Traditional Games and Sports Research Institute were merged under the name of the “Institute of Postgraduate Education.” With the decision taken at the same meeting of the Board of Trustees, the newly established Graduate School of Health Sciences was also included in this scope.
Rector of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan announced the decision to unite the institutes at the meeting with the institute directors and staff on May 30, 2024, at the Rectorate of Manas University. Rector, Prof. Dr. Ceylan underlined that with this decision, the use of time and space, especially human resources, will be made more effective and efficient. Thanking all the staff of the institutes for their services and devoted work to date, Prof. Dr. Ceylan emphasized, “We are a big family and we don’t want any member of our family to be negatively affected by this situation. Therefore, our institute staff will continue to work in other units.”
At the end of the meeting, all institute employees were given Certificates of Appreciation by the Rectorate for their services.
