First Meeting of the Institute of Postgraduate Education

Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University signed an important merger agreement following Decision No. 3 taken at the Board of Trustees meeting on April 25, 2024. The Graduate School of Social Sciences, Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences, Eurasian Research Institute of History, Language, and Archaeology, Traditional Games and Sports Research Institute, and Graduate School of Health Sciences were merged under the name “Institute of Postgraduate Education.”

The Institute of Postgraduate Education, established within this scope, held its first meeting on June 12, 2024, at Manas University’s Senate Meeting Hall. The meeting was chaired by the Director of the Institute of Postgraduate Education, Prof. Dr. İsmet Altıntaş, and attended by the heads of the relevant departments.

In his opening speech, Prof. Dr. İsmet Altıntaş stated that a total of 44 programs, including 27 master's and 17 doctoral programs, are conducted in 25 departments within the institute. He also provided detailed information about the current status of the programs and their working approaches in the new process.

During the meeting, the agenda of the Institute Board was discussed, and the Institute and Department Codes and Institute Compulsory Course Codes were determined. Important decisions were made, including the election of the Institute Board of Administration. The meeting ended with constructive suggestions and good wishes from the Department Heads.
