Çankırı Karatekin University’s Rector Paid a Courtesy Visit to Manas University
On September 16, 2024, the Rector of Çankırı Karatekin University, Prof. Dr. Harun Çiftçi paid a courtesy visit to Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University accompanied by a delegation. During the visit, Prof. Dr. Çiftçi met with the Deputy Rector of Manas University, Prof. Dr. Almaz Ibraev and the university’s administration to discuss potential areas of cooperation between the two universitites.
The discussions focused on various topics, including joint research projects, seminars, academic staff and student exchange programs. Both sides exchanged ideas on collaboration in the field of education, with the aim of further strengthening academic ties.
Rector, Prof. Dr. Çiftçi highlighted the important role Manas University plays in fostering relations within the Turkic world and emphasized the significance of future collaborations between the two universities. He also praised Manas University as a prime example of educational diplomacy, underscoring that their partnership would enhance ties across the Turkic region.
Expressing his satisfaction at the conclusion of the visit, Deputy Rector Prof. Dr. Almaz Ibraev stated, “Kyrgyzstan is your second home. Our language, culture, and history share the same roots. Manas University is one of the leading universities in Kyrgyzstan.”
The meeting ended with Deputy Rector, Prof. Dr. Almaz Ibraev presenting a gift to Çankırı Karatekin University's Rector, Prof. Dr. Harun Çiftçi.
