Rector Alpaslan Ceylan Visited the President of the Council of Higher Education Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar
Rector of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan visited the President of the Council of Higher Education, Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar.
Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar expressed his pleasure with the rapid development of Manas University, a distinguished institution to which they attach great importance. He emphasized that they will continue to support the university, which plays a vital role in strengthening academic and social ties between Kyrgyzstan and Türkiye.
He further highlighted that Manas University is one of the region's prestigious higher education institutions and reaffirmed the Council’s commitment to supporting its projects. Additionally, Prof. Dr. Özvar stated that the Council of Higher Education will continue to foster joint projects with Turkish universities and expand student and academic staff exchange programs.
Recognizing Prof. Dr. Ceylan’s productive leadership over the past four years, Prof. Dr. Özvar expressed his confidence that the Rector would continue to build upon these successes in his new term.
Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan thanked Prof. Dr. Özvar for his significant contributions to the university’s development, acknowledging his vast experience and dedication.
“As the Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University family, we will continue to strive for greater achievements, strengthening the trust between our two founding nations, Türkiye and Kyrgyzstan, as well as the broader Turkic world,” said Rector Ceylan. “Through the Council of Higher Education, we will leverage Türkiye’s extensive academic experience to further enhance Manas University, positioning it as a global leader in higher education.”
Rector Ceylan emphasized the crucial support of the President of the Republic of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, in contributing to the university’s success. He stated, “With the appointment of our new Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Prof. Dr. İbrahim Çapak, our efforts have gained momentum. Together, we will strive to achieve our goal of becoming a world-class university, as envisioned by our Presidents.”
During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar also committed to visiting Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University at his earliest opportunity.
