KTMU Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan inspected the B and C block dormitories and social facilities where renovation works were completed ahead of the new academic year. Evaluating the latest status of the work on-site, Rector Ceylan received information from relevant unit managers regarding the preparation process.

B and C Block Student Dormitories Completely Renovated

Comprehensive renovation works carried out in the B and C block student dormitories have been completed in line with the university's goal of offering higher-quality accommodation facilities to its students. Within the scope of the renovation, extensive improvements were made in living spaces, taking into account the physical conditions, security, and needs of the dormitories. Following the renovation work, the furnishing process of the student rooms has begun, and the placement of furniture and beds is ongoing.

Making evaluations after the completion of the works, Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan stated that while developing the university's education and research infrastructure, they also attach special importance to the quality of student campus life.

Prof. Dr. Ceylan stated, “We consider creating high-quality living spaces where our students will feel safe and peaceful, and where they can focus on their academic studies, as an important part of the university experience. With this approach, we carried out a comprehensive renovation in our B and C block dormitories. We have created modern living spaces where our students can rest after classes, comfortably continue their individual studies, and spend their daily lives in conditions reminiscent of a five-star hotel comfort. We reorganized the physical facilities of our dormitories and student rooms in line with today's needs. We will be very pleased to welcome our students in the new academic year in a safe, peaceful, and high-standard environment where they can feel at home.”

University Refectory Kitchen Infrastructure Modernized

Within the scope of his inspections, Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan also evaluated the modernization works carried out in the kitchen section of the University Refectory.

With the completed works, the kitchen infrastructure of the refectory was renewed, and significant improvements were made to carry out service processes in more efficient and modern conditions. The new arrangements are expected to contribute to strengthening hygiene standards, improving service quality, and executing food services offered to students more effectively.
