Congratulations Visit from KTMU Management to National Historical Museum Director Nazgul Omurzakova
The meeting was also attended by Belek Rajapov, Scientific Secretary of the National Historical Museum, Altynai Turdukojoyeva, Head of the Public Relations Department, and Gulira Abdyldayeva, Head of the International Cooperation Department.
During the meeting, Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan and Prof. Dr. Almaz Ibrayev congratulated Nazgul Omurzakova on her new role and wished her success in her duties. Nazgul Omurzakova expressed her satisfaction with hosting Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan at the museum.
Expressing his delight at visiting the National Historical Mфuseum, one of the most important museums in the Turkic world, Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan stated, “As Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, we always stand by our museum. Whatever duty falls upon our university, we will gladly fulfill it.” During the visit, future collaboration and joint work opportunities between the National Historical Museum and KTMU were discussed. Both parties expressed their openness to working together and implementing joint projects, particularly in the fields of history, archaeology, and cultural heritage.
Following the meeting, Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan presented his new four-volume work titled “Catalogue of Archaeological Artifacts of the Erzurum Museum.” After that Omurzakova presented him with a special collection album book titled “Immortal Heritage of the Kyrgyz,” published specially on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the National Historical Museum of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The visit concluded with the taking of a commemorative photograph.
