Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University provides training on “TS EN ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.”

An introductory meeting was held before the training to be given by the Turkish Standards Institute (TSE) Certification Center within the framework of TS EN ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management System between April 24-26, 2023 at the university.

The meeting at the Rectorate Conference Hall was attended by KTMU Deputy Rector Dr. Baktygul Kalambekova, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Sezai Turk, TSE Chief Auditor Rasim Yılmaz, Education Planning and Coordination Directorate Specialist Kadir Yashar Efendioglu, KTMU Quality Management Representative Prof. Dr. Kadir Ardıç and members of the Quality Management Representative.

At the meeting, KTMU Deputy Rector Dr. Baktygul Kalambekova said that Manas University is a very successful university. She said that success is important, but maintaining success is just as equally crucial. Stating that the current system of Manas University is open to continuous development, Deputy Rector Kalambekova said that she believes that the education to be provided by TSE will contribute significantly to the understanding of continuous development within the university.

Vice-Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Sezai Turk said, “Quality for an institution is trust. Building trust among internal and external stakeholders is essential for an institution's identity and reputation. Trust is the total output. In other words, it is impossible to build trust on one good aspect and one bad aspect. Trust requires being good in one's field and being an expert. Trust requires standards. Despite being successful, trust cannot be established if there is no continuity of success. Therefore, it is not enough to succeed. We also need continuity. We are proud of ourselves in terms of reputation, prestige, and success. Our university is a reputable higher education institution that provides free education of international quality, whose academic success has been proven by being included in the lists of independent international organizations such as QS and Times Higher Education, and whose diplomas are valid in Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, and countries where the diplomas of these two countries are recognized. Maintaining this prestige is our university's most important task.”

TSE officials will conduct audits for two days after providing training on “Quality Management System Basic and Documentation Information Training”, “Risk-Based Process Management Training TS EN ISO 9001:2015” and “Quality Management System (TS EN ISO 9001:2015) Internal Audit Training” at Manas University.
