Manas University Leads the Way in Educational Change and Transformation
The opening session of the training course titled “Training of Educators: Contemporary Approaches in Education” was organized by Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University’s Continuing Education Center for university academicians from January 21 to 24, 2025. The event was held at the Kasym Tynystanov Conference Hall of Manas University.
The program was attended by Manas University’s Rector, Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Kamalbek Karymshakov, Secretary-General Prof. Dr. İsmet Altıntaş, Head of the KTMU Continuing Education Center Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erkan Efilti, and many academicians.
In his opening speech, Rector Prof. Dr. Ceylan expressed his satisfaction with the organization of such an important program. He emphasized the significance of continuous self-improvement for academic staff, stating: “An academic who continuously develops themselves will elevate our university to greater heights.”
Highlighting the core philosophy of their educational approach, Prof. Dr. Ceylan remarked: “We believe education is a lifelong endeavor. It should continue at every age and level because science cannot pause. As the world evolves, we must adapt to this process of change and transformation.”
He also emphasized Manas University’s achievements in education and science, saying: “Together, we have built a university we can be proud of. Manas University is an exceptional educational institution, unique in the world.”
Throughout the seminar, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rita İsmailova delivered a presentation on “The Use of Technology and Artificial Intelligence in Education,” Prof. Dr. Mirgul Esengulova addressed “Characteristics of the Questions Paradigm,” Prof. Dr. Zhyldyz Asekova discussed “Technologies that Develop Critical Thinking,” Prof. Dr. Ercan Yılmaz explored “New Approaches in Measurement and Evaluation,” and Prof. Dr. Mustafa Yavuz presented on “Creative and Innovative Thinking in Contemporary Education.” These sessions, offered both in-person and online, aimed to provide valuable insights into contemporary educational practices.
This essential training program, designed to stay updated with advancements in education, emphasizes the integration of technology and aims to enhance knowledge of modern educational approaches. It is scheduled to conclude on January 24, 2025.
