Undergraduate Degree Programs
• Entrance Quota Scholarship
The entrance quota scholarship is awarded during the preparatory year and the first semester of the first year according to the following tiers. A student can only receive a scholarship from one of these levels. Students who receive the entrance quota scholarship are subject to the academic achievement scholarship criteria starting from the second semester of the first year.
a. First Tier: This scholarship is awarded to students who rank in the top 50 in a score type (Verbal/Numerical/Equal Weight) in Manas University’s Measuring, Selection, and Placement Center (MSPC) and the Kyrgyz State Examination (GRANT/ORT), to those who place in the top three in each branch of the science olympiads organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic, and to students who enroll in the university by ranking in the top 15% of the Measuring, Selection, and Placement Center of the Republic of Türkiye.
b. Second Tier: This scholarship is awarded to students who rank in the second 50 (51-100) in a score type (Verbal/Numerical/Equal Weight) in Manas University’s Measuring, Selection, and Placement Center (MSPC) and the Kyrgyz State Examination (GRANT/ORT), and to students who enroll in the top 20% of the Measuring, Selection, and Placement Center of the Republic of Türkiye.
• Support Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to students admitted to the university from outside Türkiye and Kyrgyzstan during the preparatory year and until the end of the first semester of the first year according to the first level of the academic achievement scholarship. Students who receive the support scholarship are subject to the academic achievement scholarship criteria starting from the second semester of the first year.
• Academic Achievement Scholarship
This scholarship starts in the second semester of the first year and is awarded to students at the end of each semester based on their academic achievements and grade point averages.
a. First Tier: Awarded to students with a GPA between 3.50 and 4.00.
b. Second Tier: Awarded to students with a GPA between 3.00 and 3.49.
• Athletic Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to students who represent the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Türkiye in Olympic sports branches in international competitions and have won the title of national athlete, according to the first level of the entrance quota scholarship, during the preparatory year and until the end of the first semester of the first year. This scholarship continues to be paid to students with a GPA above 2.50 from the second semester of the first year. Recipients must participate in inter-university competitions deemed appropriate by the university to represent Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University. Otherwise, their scholarships will be terminated.
To be eligible, students must submit a written application with a national athlete certificate from the relevant ministry or federation for the last three years, which must be approved by the university’s Board of Directors.
Graduate Degree Programs
• Merit Scholarship
This scholarship is awarded to students studying in the university’s graduate programs. Recipients are determined based on their success ranking from the entrance exams for graduate programs. The distribution of the graduate success scholarship is re-evaluated at the end of the first year based on academic success. A maximum of three students per department can benefit from this scholarship. Scholarships are terminated during a leave of absence as per the Regulation on Graduate Education and Examination but may resume upon re-enrollment, considering the academic status of all students.
• Support Scholarship
This scholarship is given to students admitted from outside Türkiye and Kyrgyzstan upon the proposal of the Graduate School and the decision of the university’s Administration Board. Recipients are required to assist in the work of their respective department or institute outside of academic hours.
• Shelter Assistance
This aid, provided by the Rectorate, offers free accommodation for students in university guesthouses under the conditions stipulated by the university legislation. Priority is given to students from other Turkic Republics and Turkic Communities.
